About Us

Forty-five years of cardiology — clinician, professor, researcher and editor.

A clinician first, informed by research

Professor Michael Henein is a consultant cardiologist practising at The Harley Street Clinic and UME Health in central London. His clinical work centres on advanced, non-invasive cardiac imaging — echocardiography, cardiac CT and MRI — used to reach an accurate diagnosis without unnecessary intervention.

Alongside clinical practice he holds professorships at Imperial College London; Siena University, Italy; University of Nicosia, Cyprus; and University of Lisbon, Portugal, supervised 24 PhD students, and continues to publish and lecture internationally.
