Do I need a GP referral?

Not necessarily. Self-referrals are welcome for consultations, although some insurers require a GP referral before they will authorise cover, so it is worth checking your policy first.

Any previous cardiac test results or reports, a list of current medications, and details of your GP or referring doctor, where relevant.

Often, yes. Where clinically appropriate, ECG, echocardiography or other imaging can be arranged during your initial visit rather than on a separate day.

You will receive a full written report following your consultation and any tests, with the exact timing confirmed at your appointment.

Urgent reviews can usually be accommodated. Call the practice directly and the personal assistant will do their best to find you a same-week, or same-day, slot.
Yes, where clinically appropriate. Ask the practice personal assistant when you book to check whether your situation is suitable for a remote appointment.
